What is MISSION 3:12?
Texas A&M Aggies starting safety Marcus Ratcliffe is proud to announce the launch of “Mission 3:12,” a charitable initiative designed to support World War II veterans through a unique pledge tied to the performance of the Aggie defense this season.
For every turnover recovered by the Aggie defense, Ratcliffe will donate $312 to the Walk Among Heroes charity. This organization is dedicated to preserving the stories of World War II veterans and sponsoring them on trips back to Normandy for the annual D-Day anniversary.
"Mission 3:12" reflects Marcus' deep respect for the military heritage of Texas A&M and its alumni who served in World War II. The number 3 represents Marcus’ jersey number, while 12 symbolizes the storied tradition of the 12th Man—a testament to the Aggie spirit of teamwork and support.
“I am proud to be part of a program that honors the sacrifices of our veterans,” said Ratcliffe. “With Mission 3:12, I hope to inspire my teammates and fans to rally behind our defense while making a meaningful contribution to those who have given so much for our country.”
